Neat's $100M Quarter Just Triggered a Leadership Shake-Up

Off the back of its first $100 million quarter, Neat has overhauled its executive bench, appointing 20-year Cisco veteran Sandeep Mehra as SVP & GM of International to lead its EMEA and APAC expansion, part of a wider leadership reshuffle at the top.

Neat Names Sandeep Mehra SVP International

Neat has come off its first $100 million quarter, and the video device company is now restructuring its leadership to match that growth. Neat has appointed Sandeep Mehra as Senior Vice President & General Manager of International, putting him in charge of market expansion, commercial execution, and partner ecosystems across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. The appointment is effective immediately, with Mehra initially based in London.

Mehra spent more than a decade at Cisco in senior roles spanning sales, engineering, and go-to-market, including stints as Managing Director for APAC Collaboration Sales, Vice President of Customer Experience across ASEAN and Korea, and Global GM for Video Devices, where he led the launch of a range of Work from Home and Intelligent Spaces products. Earlier in his career, he co-founded one of India's first conferencing companies, which was later acquired by Webex, and went on to hold an executive role at Moxtra.

Leadership bench deepens as Neat scales

The Mehra appointment is part of a broader reshuffle at the top of the company. Martijn Blokland, who spent six years leading Neat's international revenue, has moved into a newly created role as Senior Vice President of Global Operations & Strategy, taking on customer experience, global sales operations and enablement, order fulfilment, product evaluation, logistics, and new product introduction.

Mehra will work alongside Blokland and Rick Hill, who was recently promoted to Senior Vice President & General Manager of Americas. Sherri Pipala, Vice President of Alliances and Business Development, has also joined the executive leadership team to focus on strategic technology partnerships and ecosystem growth.

Javed Khan, CEO of Neat, framed the hire as central to the company's next phase of growth.

"Sandeep is an absolute powerhouse in the collaboration space who brings an exceptional blend of entrepreneurial drive and large-scale enterprise execution. Having worked closely with Sandeep in the past, I know firsthand that he is an incredibly impactful, hands-on leader. He knows what it takes to scale disruptors and global enterprise alike. I am thrilled to welcome him to Neat to lead our international revenue strategy during this crucial phase of growth."

Mehra himself pointed to Neat's momentum as the draw.

"Neat's relentless focus on simple, open, and intelligent video technology has fundamentally shifted how world-class organizations collaborate. Having spent my career at the intersection of hardware, software, and workplace experience, it's clear that Neat is building the future of the market. I am thrilled to join at a moment of such incredible momentum and look forward to accelerating our footprint across international markets."

Khan flagged this kind of organisational buildout as a priority in a UC Today interview when he was around three months into the CEO role and speaking more broadly about Neat's next phase of growth.

"Customers are saying, we've got simple, medium, large rooms covered. Now we want the entire estate. So we'll continue to see our product portfolio get richer, so customers can start to standardize on Neat. That's where a lot of our growth is coming from. It also requires building out a customer success organization, a richer support organization. That's a big focus area for me and for the company, because that's where our growth is coming from today."

Why this matters for the UC&C market

The appointment lands at a moment when Neat is pushing hard on international share against incumbents like Cisco and Logitech in the room device market, and a leader with a decade of Cisco APAC and EMEA experience gives it a direct line into the enterprise buying relationships those competitors have long relied on. Pairing that hire with a double-digit profitability margin on its first $100 million quarter suggests Neat is treating this as a scaling phase rather than a defensive one, building out commercial infrastructure to match demand for Neat's device portfolio, which spans the Neat Bar Gen 2, Neat Board 32, and Neat Pad Pro across Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom environments.
