Logitech has launched MeetUp 2, the next generation of the AI-powered video bar tailored for huddle rooms.
MeetUp 2 is an AI-powered USB conference camera tailored for bring-your-own device (BYOD) and PC-based setups in huddle and small meeting rooms. Logitech says the device represents the modern evolution of the iconic Logitech MeetUp, the company's best-selling conference camera with over one million units sold.
Leveraging years of experience in integrating AI-enhanced features to foster human-centric experiences and deepen engagement among meeting participants without manual intervention, Logitech has equipped MeetUp 2 with these intelligent features.
Henry Levak, VP of Product at Logitech B2B, said:
Logitech MeetUp 2 brings the power of AI with RightSight 2 to create dynamic views that draw remote users into the virtual meeting, and RightSound 2 for advanced voice equalization and noise suppression. On the backend, IT teams can remotely monitor the devices and push out software updates to continuously make MeetUp 2 smarter over time. And not insignificantly, we’ve built this next-generation conference camera with next-life plastics."
RightSight 2's AI-driven video features ensure equitable experiences for remote participants by automatically focusing and framing in-room participants, whether it's the active speaker, the group, or individuals. For enhanced audio clarity, RightSound 2 utilises AI-based algorithms to balance voices, filter out unwanted noise, and reduce reverberation in echo-prone rooms.
MeetUp 2 integrates with popular video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, offering features such as Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery and Microsoft Intelliframe, which ensure equal visibility for all participants by creating individual feeds or automatically placing them in frames.
MeetUp 2 joins Logitech’s lineup of conference cameras and is priced at $899/€999/£849. It is available globally through authorised distributors and the Logitech website.
More Details On The Meetup 2's Sustainability
MeetUp 2 was developed using Design for Sustainability (DfS) principles, guiding teams toward eco-friendly design solutions. It replaces virgin plastic with post-consumer recycled plastic, reducing its carbon footprint. With 62 percent recycled plastic content, Logitech says that MeetUp 2 leads in this aspect among similar products. By choosing recycled plastic, it saves 15.5 tCO2e per 10,000 units, aiding in lowering Scope 3 indirect emissions.
Logitech says it shares its DfS knowledge to encourage other brands to adopt eco-friendly practices. Additionally, MeetUp 2 is packaged in paper sourced from FSC-certified forests.
