Gamma Communications has bolstered its UC portfolio with the acquisition of the EnableX group.
EnableX constitutes three channel-centric businesses: Pragma, Techland and Candio. The primary emphasis is on facilitating resellers to seize new opportunities and succeed across various technology domains, particularly in cloud communications. The group stands out as one of the leading providers to the UK wholesale channel in cloud communications.
Daryl Pile, Managing Director at Gamma Business, said:
This acquisition significantly expands our channel portfolio, providing greater opportunities for our partners to accelerate their growth. We are proud to work alongside them and the partnership that they have forged with one of the leading business communications vendors, Ericsson-LG Enterprise. The most striking element throughout the process has been the close cultural alignment of EnableX and Gamma, both built on openness, loyalty and trust."
Pile namechecks EnableX's relationship with Ericsson-LG Enterprise, with the latter having entered the UK market via EnableX and the iPECS Unified Communications portfolio, which includes iPECS Cloud. Moving forward, Ericsson-LG Enterprise will continue its partnership with EnableX and Gamma.
EnableX also has long-term partnerships with Ribbon and SO Connect via their go-to-market brands, delivering cloud communications and Software-as-a-service solutions.
"We are excited to be part of the Gamma Group, and it is clear how the portfolio we have fits into Gamma’s strategy for growth and leadership in the UCaaS space," said Will Morey, Chief Executive Officer of EnableX. "Bringing these businesses together will help us both bring additional value to the channel."
How was Gamma's 2023?
Gamma had a productive 2023, including kicking the year off by bringing Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams for channel partners in the UK.
