Zoom AI Companion has hit the one million meeting summary milestone.
Zoom's generative AI assistant has reached the figure less than two months since the solution's launch, with over 125,000 accounts leveraging the service.
To celebrate the achievement, Zoom has revealed new capabilities, additional language support, and improvements to existing capabilities for AI Companion, such as meeting coaching and in-meeting questions.

Zoom AI Companion's New Features and Imminent Features
Two new capabilities have been added to Zoom AI Companion, starting today. The first is that users can now utilise AI Companion's in-meeting questions capability in seven new languages (available in preview).
The second new feature is that meeting summaries now include an overview at the top of emailed summaries. This offers users a briefer version of the meeting summary to complement the full meeting summary.
Zoom AI Companion will be updated with several new features in November, including meeting summary overviews becoming available in summaries delivered through continuous meeting chat.
An intriguing new feature is that AI Companion will soon provide users with meeting coach capabilities. The first of these will be through speech analytics in Smart Recordings. Speech analytics encompasses the meeting host’s talk-listen ratio, talk speed, and speech fillers. This enables the host to gain insights into how they engage with meeting participants during Zoom Meetings.
In November, AI Companion will be available in Zoom Events. Functionally, this provides Zoom Events users with chat compose features for lobby chats and assistance with composing emails for registration, marketing, and ticketing comms.
