Yealink, the globally recognized leader in Unified Communication & Collaboration (UC&C) solutions, recently announced a significant transition of its Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) to the Microsoft Azure platform.
Today, YMCS is hosted in Azure Blob Storage, with data centers located in Virginia, USA, and Paris, France, providing localized data storage in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
In a recent interview, Alvin Liao, a representative from Yealink, provided insight into this strategic decision. He began by emphasizing that Yealink has a global brand reputation to uphold.
"Yealink is secure, and Yealink provides secure products," he said. "We are committed to maintaining the industry's highest level of security standards worldwide."
This migration is a strategic move that further reinforces the security infrastructure of Yealink's product line, responding to increased demand for secure solutions in the UC&C and AV industries, he confirmed.
YMCS is an innovative cloud-based solution that comprehensively manages Yealink's voice, video, and headset devices. The platform simplifies remote management, provisioning, and troubleshooting, enhancing productivity and operational efficiency.
YMCS delivers precise control over regions, user groups, or device models. It eliminates the need for traditional, costly deployment by enabling automatic network connection.
Azure Makes Yealink YMCS Secure, Strong & Robust
The migration to Microsoft Azure assures enhanced security through multiple robust mechanisms. Azure's built-in redundancy, failover capabilities, and security certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and HIPAA offer a robust protective layer.
Moreover, YMCS leverages Azure's extensive infrastructure capabilities, such as Azure Load Balancer for inbound and outbound network traffic control, Azure Virtual Machines for sensitive data encryption, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for flexible scaling and high service availability.
