Zoom Quality of Service Subscription (QSS) has integrated with Palo Alto’s Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM) to help IT admins locate and resolve meeting and call issues.
The cybersecurity provider, Palo Alto, made the announcement at Zoomtopia, where plenty of other news has been coming out, including the launch of Zoom email and calendar services.
Pamela Cyr, vice president, Technical Partnerships, Palo Alto Networks, said: "Network and UCaaS admins are responsible for the end-user application experience, but no product currently offers all the information necessary to troubleshoot, report, and improve the application experience of remote workers.
"We are pleased to deliver with Zoom the industry's first integrated solution for complete visibility into the root causes impacting meeting and call quality for end users."
There is currently a mismatch between expectations and technological capabilities. While users expect high-quality call and meeting experiences, poor Wifi quality, internet service provider challenges, hardware issues, and more are still affecting many users' experiences.
Currently, when user issues are reported, IT and UCaaS admins cannot view the data quality of end-to-end meeting lifecycles in a single place. As a result, it is extremely difficult to identify problems and troubleshoot the underlying issues quickly.
The Palo Alto and Zoom join solution shows the relevant data across the network, meetings, and endpoints in a single dashboard. It also offers insights to help admins locate and resolve call and meeting issues. The result, according to Palo Alto, is excellent user experience, reduced hassle and costs associated with support tickets, and better business outcomes.
