UC Today attended Cloud Comms Summit 2019 which concluded in Washington earlier in September. The latest iteration of the Cloud Comms Summit is organised by Cavell Group and the Cloud Communications Alliance.
In this video interview the team speak to Cisco's Cloud Calling & BroadSoft Business Leader, Michael Tessler. As well as gauging Tessler's opinion on the current state of the communications market and Cisco's proposition to the industry, the interview also covers Tessler's reaction to receiving a lifetime achievement award.
The Cloud Communications Alliance bestowed a Lifetime Achievement award on Tessler for his services to the cloud communications industry. Tessler already had decades of industry experience prior to co-founding BroadSoft before its sale to Cisco in 2018.
