Kurmi is aiming to make migration to Webex Calling easier for its customers by announcing a partnership with Integrated Research (IR) and Yarnlab for a joint Migration Assurance solution.
"Migration Assurance brings together the best of automation, monitoring, discovery and transformation to remove the complexities of UC migration,"
Kurmi Software COO Pascal Moindrot said.
Announced at Cisco Live Amsterdam, the bundled solution aims to elevate the standard for UC migrations by integrating strengths from each provider.
New Migration Capabilities
System software company IR is coming on board to provide advanced monitoring and proactive analytics.
Yarnlab—a software company that deals with assessing, migrating, and testing UC solutions—will work on intelligent discovery and configuration transformation capabilities.
Kurmi, itself an operations management and migration platform provider, will provide automation for provisioning and day-to-day administration.
"We are excited to partner with IR and Yarnlab to provide a comprehensive solution for migrations to Cisco Webex Calling, enabling large organisations to conduct paced migrations with increased confidence, operational efficiency, and strategic control," Moindrot said.
This combination of technologies offers organisations visibility and control over their migration process, mitigating guesswork, minimising downtime, and proactively addressing potential issues.
Examining Migration Assurance
This new Migration Assurance offering is intended to support a paced and structured migration approach, enabling organisations to manage both legacy and new UC systems in parallel without rushing the cutover.
Webex Calling offers many attractive features for users who may be interested in making the switch; it combines calling, meetings, messaging, and team collaboration into a single platform, providing a comprehensive communication suite.
