Crestron introduced new solutions and certifications at Zoomtopia 2023 that will assist Zoom customers in their daily workflows.
The global leader in workplace collaboration, Crestron, has received Zoom certifications for the Videobar 70 and intelligent video cameras. It has also launched a new Zoom Phone Appliance and Scheduling Panel with Zoom Rooms software.
These additions, announced yesterday at Zoom’s seventh annual customer conference, are part of Crestron’s commitment to develop a portfolio for Zoom customers.
Brad Hintze, EVP Global Marketing at Crestron, commented on its newly expanded portfolio for Zoom: “With Crestron and Zoom, our shared customers know they can expect a high-quality and reliable collaboration experience throughout their enterprise, and Crestron continues to evolve our native Zoom solutions to add even more offerings.
“Our announcements today at Zoomtopia reaffirm our commitment to providing our customers with innovative solutions that enhance their Zoom experience.”
Videobar 70 and Intelligent Video Cameras
The Videobar 70 is Crestron’s first all-in-one collaboration bar, which has now been approved by Zoom as an audio and video device for Zoom Rooms.
It has been built on Android OS and includes four high-resolution cameras with intelligent video capabilities that provide speaker tracking, group framing, conversation mode, and beamforming microphones.
The video bar can locate speakers up to 30 feet away, making it ideal for medium and large conference rooms.
When combined with a Crestron touchscreen native to Zoom Rooms, meeting controls and meeting join functionalities are at your fingertips.
Rooms requiring optical PTZ cameras for group framing and presenter tracking can use the AutoTracker and AutoFramer intelligent video camera, which have also been certified for Zoom Rooms.
The AutoTracker cameras follow presenters, allowing them to speak and move in a natural way, as the cameras automatically keep them centred in the frame of the presentation area.
Meanwhile, the AutoFramer camera ensures all in-room participants remain within the frame, which works well with conference room meetings.
