Crestron has announced it will partner with Sustainability in AV (SAVe) as well as uphold its previous sustainability commitments.

The video conferencing solutions provider Crestron will join SAVe as a "Sustaining Sponsor". Its support will help the non-profit organisation to educate and inspire change within the audio-visual (AV) industry towards more environmentally friendly business practices.
Crestron is simultaneously doubling down on its various initiatives relating to sustainable design, manufacturing, and shipping.
Brad Hintze, EVP of Global Marketing at Crestron, explained that its new partnership with SAVe will bolster its sustainability drive beyond its own operations: "As an organisation, we have been making strides to use eco-friendly packaging materials, minimise plastic use, and ensure product lifecycle longevity.

SAVe Partnership
SAVe is a global network of AV organisations taking action to meet the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The SDGs, adopted by all 193 members of the United Nations, include 17 major goals to achieve by 2023, from eliminating poverty and hunger to promoting health, inclusivity, equality, and, of course, affordable and sustainable energy. Within these headline goals are 169 specific targets that SAVe believes could result in the end of global warming and a happier and fairer world for everyone.
SAVe relies upon stakeholders and sponsors such as Crestron to continue its outreach and advocacy work.
SAVe may focus on a single industry, but its impact could be enormous when you consider that Pro AV is expected to generate $402 billion by 2028, according to Mediascape. That is a step up of nearly $100 billion from 2023.
