At InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas, UC Today's Marcus Law caught up with Espen Løberg, VP and GM for the Collaboration Devices business at Cisco, and Jeff Smith, Head of Product, Workplace at Zoom, to discuss the launch of Cisco Devices for Zoom Rooms and what it means for enterprise customers.
The conversation covers what drove the partnership forward, what a Zoom-standardised organisation actually gains from running Zoom Rooms on Cisco hardware, and how Cisco's device intelligence, including its edge AI capabilities developed with NVIDIA, its ThousandEyes network diagnostics, and its Workspace Advisor platform, extends into Zoom deployments for the first time.
