AVer Pro AV cameras Zoom Rooms certification

AVer has received Zoom Rooms Presenter Focus certifications for a range of Pro AV cameras following ‘rigorous’ testing.

According to the visual collaboration solutions provider AVer, its auto tracking camera series improves user experience by enabling the creation of ‘impactful presentations’ and guaranteeing optimised visual focus, which will ultimately help to keep audiences engaged.

The cameras to be given Zoom Rooms’ stamp of approval were the TR211, TR315, TR315N, TR335, TR335N, PTC310UV2, and PTC320UNV2.

Stanley Cheng, Vice President at AVer, explains how this Zoom Rooms certification opens up a portal for its customers into Zoom’s ecosystem: “Our commitment is to elevate our customers' distance communication experiences to the highest level.

“With Zoom certification, our customers gain access to a diverse selection of Pro AV cameras that integrate seamlessly with Zoom, enhancing all forms of remote collaborations.”

In May this year, AVer’s TR300 Series cameras, TR315N and TR335N, also achieved the NDI HX3 certification.

The 4K Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras offer ‘world-class’ video quality and AI capabilities, AVer said in a press release at the time.

It also asserts that these two cameras will ‘revolutionise’ the Pro AV landscape through their low latency, minimal bandwidth requirements, and visual quality.

AVer Cameras: Key Features

The cameras all include three Presenter Focus Modes, which can be activated in a single click, adding flexibility and ease of use for a wide selection of applications.

The free zone tracking mode enables auto focus and presenter tracking to follow the presenter as they walk around the room.

Content tracking allows multiple displays and whiteboard content to be captured so that the presenter does not need to remain the sole focus throughout a presentation.

With area tracking stage lectures, the camera is capable of focussing and tracking the presenter within a specific area.

The TR211, TR315N, and TR335N auto tracking cameras are designed for broadcasting, recording, and livestreaming applications.

AVer’s TR211 and TR315N have 12x optical zoom and offer premium video with low latency.

The TR335N can also take close-up shots using its 30x optical zoom, which would be a natural fit for extra-large venues, hybrid setups, and multi-purpose auditoriums.

AVer at InfoComm 2024

AVer displayed a range of its latest audio and video solutions at InfoComm Asia 2024, which took place on 17th - 19th July this year.

As well as a range of AI cameras, including AI-enabled dual lens cameras, AVer also showcased ceiling speakerphone, streaming, and visualisation products.

Cheng promoted the event:

“The common thread in our AI Camera solutions is the ability to elevate the speaker, presenter, teacher — whoever is at the center of attention — so they can articulate at their best.

“Visitors to this year’s InfoComm Asia, the largest yet, will discover our latest advancements and witness firsthand how they can take their workflows up a level.”

Shortly before InfoComm Asia took place, AVer announced that four of its solutions, the TR535, MD120UI, TR335, and PTZ231 were honoured at InfoComm USA 2024. The TR535, for example, was award the Best New AI-Base PTZ Camera.
