8x8's Focus on Real World Innovation

UC Today attended Enterprise Connect 2019, potentially the biggest unified communications and collaboration event on the planet, to bring you interviews with all the industry's biggest names.

Presenter Patrick is joined by Bryan Martin, who is the Chairman and CTO at 8x8. Patrick asks Bryan about his main focuses for the event. 8x8 have announced some closer integration with Google to provide enhanced services in the contact centre. Bryan explains that while many companies are talking about AI and machine learning, 8x8, are using the technology in the background to show their customers genuine use cases.

Bryan also tells Patrick that because 8x8 can offer customers a single platform across their communication's estate they are able to offer innovation across the platforms in each individual area. 8x8 acquired video conferencing provider, Jitsi, in 2018 and Bryan tells Patrick how they are now using the open source platform to bring 8x8 into the realm of video communication.
