As Anthony Cresci, VP Business Development and Operations explained, these capabilities are very timely as customers have been requesting this functionality for some time.

Securely Supervising eComms

“Chat and polling tend to be some of the most highly requested features from employees as they drive more productive and engaging communication. But within FinSev organizations they are very likely disabled for compliance reasons.

“Now with the new integration, we can capture both private and group chat and polling data, in a WORM-compliant archive, plus we have integrations with third-party email archives, and eDiscovery systems to store a record of the content. With Theta Lake, FI’s have the option to capture and record all aspects of Zoom Meetings and Webinars or selectively archive just the eComms without needing to record and store the audio and video. ”

The existence of this new module completes the most comprehensive compliance and archiving solution for Zoom, adding to Theta Lake’s existing suite comprising Zoom Meetings and Webinars Supervision and Archiving, Zoom Phone Supervision and Archiving, Zoom Chat Supervision and Archiving, and Real-time Compliance Advisor for Zoom Meetings.

Complete Coverage Means Flexibility

These modules can be deployed in a flexible and independent way according to a firm’s need, as Cresci explained:

“Many of the organizations we work with have programs in place to record and supervise all aspects of Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone recordings, including voice, screenshare, virtual whiteboards, webcam, in-meeting chat, and polling, which provides complete coverage for detecting compliance and data leakage risks in what was said, shown, shared or written. Other customers only want to capture chat and polling, traditional eComms, based on SEC, FINRA, FCA, and IIROC business preservation requirements and thus this new integration enables that flexibility. Now firms can enable these core features and functionality in Zoom Meetings and Webinars that they typically didn't have turned on.

“The new eComms feature from Theta Lake allows you to do that, including starting with a smaller use case, and then expanding your compliance journey for Zoom and other leading Unified Communication platforms across capturing and archiving more content types and being more proactive with AI-based supervision.”
