We wrapped up another week of UC Summit, and if you missed it, you missed a good one. However, most of the Summit's content is available on-demand following the event. Last week's focus was Collaboration, with the Summit hosting some heavy hitters in the world of collab.
Rob Scott, UC Today Publisher, kicked things off in his official welcome to the second week of the Summit. "Hindsight is a wonderful thing," he noted, and Rob further spoke about the importance of communications and collaboration, along with how much it shifted in 2020 - telling event-goers:
"In 2020, we catapulted into the future of work, video conferencing became the new voice, 'virtual' became the new work style, and 'anywhere' became the new workplace"
You can catch the rest of Rob's introduction speech here.
You also missed several powerhouse keynote sessions, including ones from Cisco and GoTo. Amy Peck, Founder/CEO, EndeavorXR, presented one of many keynote sessions called 'Global Collaboration in XR - Changing How we Work Together.' Vaughan Klein, Sales Director, EMEAR, Cisco, focused on what he called a 'Blueprint for the Hybrid Workspace,' and Kevin Ryder, Chief Marketing and Product Officer, IR, took us forward in time - hosting a session called 'The Future of UCC: Success in 2021 and Beyond.'
Paul Gentile, Senior Director, Product Marketing, GoTo, and Troy Jensen, Senior Manager, Global Accounts, Shure, also made appearances on this year's virtual stage.
Even though you missed the keynotes, there is still tons of on-demand content available.
