Microsoft is looking to add an interactive question & answer feature for webinars and meetings on their Teams platform.
The addition to the video conferencing platform is expected to bring further collaboration and interactivity to Teams calls.
The feature is still in development, with the Microsoft 365 roadmap listing an expected general availability date of July 2022.
The company has announced the Q&A feature via its official Microsoft 365 roadmap page, which said: "By enabling Q&A to any Teams Webinars or Meetings through Meeting Options.
"Meeting Organizers will be able to create either moderated or unmoderated Q&A experience."
When it launches, the feature will be available to users worldwide on desktop, web, mobile, android and iOS.
The Q&A feature is the latest addition to Microsoft Teams that are aiming to make the platform more interactive and accessible.
According to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, other features coming in July include 'Share to Teams' which allows users to share URLs from a personal app or tab to other users or groups within Teams.
A mute/unmute status icon is also set to be added to ensure users in the room are aware of the mute state of the room.
In the June 2022 update, Microsoft added a multi-language meeting invite control to allow admins to show the information contained in meeting invitations in up to two languages.
