Planar has released its Simplicity P Series LCD displays to support the continuous operation of digital signage applications.
The large format displays series has been certified for 24/7 usage for digital signage applications, including emergency messaging, wayfinding, advertising, and menu boards.
Planar Simplicity P Series is available in sizes ranging from 43 inches up to 86 inches. It also has interactive touch models with 20 simultaneous touch points and a fine-tip stylus, which can also be purchased in all sizes.
According to the ‘global leader’ in visualisation technology, Planar, the new series can provide digital signage customers with “exceptional visual performance”.
Sandi Stambaugh, SVP, Product Management at TD SYNNEX, has provided feedback on its integration of the P Series into its portfolio: "TD SYNNEX is committed to uniting IT solutions that deliver business outcomes today and unlock growth for the future.
"With the new Planar Simplicity P Series added to our portfolio of digital signage solutions, we’re able to enrich the breadth and depth of our offerings so customers can do great things with technology."
Planar Simplicity P Series
The Simplicity P Series joins the marketplace, following Planar’s cybersecurity certification from the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) for its Simplicity M Series 4K LCD displays.
ETSI defends against large-scale attacks against smart devices by creating a baseline for connected products and future IoT certification schemes.
Planar’s P Series has also been certified to the “most stringent” global cybersecurity standard to protect customer from the current cybersecurity threat landscape.
The new large format display also helps to maintain the display family’s ‘ENERGY STAR’ certification that marks them out as an operation cost and electricity saving solutions.
The displays can also be mounted in either landscape or portrait orientation, making them easier to deploy across varying environments.
The Planar Simplicity P Series will begin shipping via Planar’s global reseller network towards the end of the fourth quarter.
