San Francisco-based Atomicwork has introduced a new IT Service Management (ITSM) solution for Microsoft Teams, which Microsoft said will "revolutionise" the field.
The solution leverages Microsoft's AI capabilities to deliver IT service management directly within the collaboration platform, enhancing productivity and employee support in enterprises.
Vijay Rayapati, CEO of Atomicwork, said: "We are thrilled to launch our Modern Service Management solution within Microsoft Teams, leveraging the latest AI capabilities to revolutionise IT support for employee experience and enterprise productivity.
"By integrating our powerful ITSM platform directly into Teams, we are empowering employees to get the help they need right within their primary collaboration tool. This not only enhances productivity but also transforms the workplace support experience.
"Our collaboration with Microsoft represents a significant step forward in our mission to deliver intelligent, seamless IT service management and digital workplace experience solutions."
The integration allows employees to access IT support without leaving Microsoft Teams, addressing the challenge of context-switching between different applications and support portals.
Atomicwork's Atom AI assistant is central to this offering, automating more than 70 percent of recurring IT requests such as software access and workplace support, streamlining enterprise workflows, Atomicwork said.
The platform features an integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), which allows for integrating various business applications and workflows.
Atomicwork says this contributes to enhanced productivity, as AI-driven search capabilities and integrated enterprise knowledge resources provide quick access to information, boosting the efficiency of employees and IT teams.
The solution ensures enterprise-grade security by adhering to multiple standards, including SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, CSA Star Level 1, and ISO 27001.
