A new integration framework lets customers plug outside AI agents into 8x8 routing and analytics. Launch partners include three CCaaS bot vendors. The interesting question, which the release doesn't answer, is who owns the conversation record.

HP retires two Poly headset lines as portfolio consolidates

The Voyager 4200 and Blackwire 5200 series reach end-of-sale in October, with support running to 2029. HP points buyers at the newer Voyager Free range. Fleet managers have a five-year runway.

Vonage prices network APIs for the mid-market

SIM-swap detection and number verification move from enterprise contracts to self-serve, priced per call. It's the first of the operator-backed network APIs to get consumption pricing. Others will follow.
