CAE has acquired Macclesfield-based Novus Group to strengthen its existing Microsoft capabilities.
Novus was established 20 years ago and counts Veeam, Citrix, and Xirrus among its vendor partners, alongside Microsoft. It will retain its brand and Managing Director, Donald Allison, will remain on board to make the best use of the wider CAE group resources to support existing and potential customers.
“This deal is fundamentally about the people and their opportunity to grow with their customers, on both a business and personal level,” stated CAE Chief Executive, Justin Harling.
“Everyone across the two organisations will be retained and will have the opportunity to apply their expertise in new and exciting ways.
“For customers, it means more skills available to help drive transformation from integrating innovative Microsoft cloud, workspace, and security solutions into a wider portfolio of infrastructure services already delivered by CAE”
Harling also hinted that further M&A might be on the horizon.
“Where opportunity exists to augment our capabilities, we will look at acquisitions as a way of accelerating our organic growth,” he continued.
