Avaya has encouraged partners to consider the opportunities that have come about due to the “considerable” market shifts initiated by the pandemic.
The vendor addressed attendees of this week’s hybrid Avaya Partner Forum, stating that its OneCloud platform will help partners harness the opportunities presented by these market changes.
“With every change comes an opportunity, and beyond the pandemic, the long-term opportunities are vast for Avaya and its partner community,” stated Fadi Moubarak, Vice President – Channels, Avaya International.
“Organisations have realised that improving the quality of experiences through both the customer and employee journey is today among the most important differentiators and creators of brand affinity. And that’s where Avaya and its partners excel – helping our customers create experiences that matter for their customers.”
According to Avaya’s Life and Work Beyond 2020 report, companies are facing a challenge where over one-third of consumers prefer a mix of channels and modalities in which they engage with and contact organisations. Further research from Avaya revealed that 52 percent of companies increased investment in collaboration software.
Avaya OneCloud is well-positioned to address these changing demands by enabling experiences to be composed, according to Moubarak.
“It’s become almost impossible to keep up using legacy technologies. The experiences that people demand can’t be satisfied with monolithic apps in a cloud world; experiences must be ‘composed’, and that’s what our work will continue to focus on"
In-person and virtual attendees of the event also learned how to use the recently-launched Experience Builders ecosystem to easily build and deliver new experiences across limited or siloed development functions by offering the correct amount of co-development support each company needs.
