Zoom has announced the latest milestone for Zoom Phone as the solution hits three million seats sold worldwide.
The company has confirmed that the platform reached the landmark number during Q1 of this year.
In a blog post, Graeme Geddes, Head of Zoom Phone & Rooms, has expressed his gratitude to those who have deployed Zoom Phone over the last three years.
He said: "We launched Zoom Phone in January 2019 because we saw an opportunity to provide a cloud business phone solution as simple, reliable, and easy to use as our video platform.
"Going from zero to 3 million licenses in just over three years is a testament to the growing need for a rich cloud telephony solution like Zoom Phone.
"Businesses, schools, and other organizations no longer have to settle for a phone solution; they can choose a comprehensive system that empowers their hybrid teams and strategically scales with their business.
"Whether it was to replace an outdated legacy solution, consolidate communications onto a single platform, or enable remote and hybrid teams (or all of the above), we're extremely grateful to every organization for choosing to deploy Zoom Phone."
Since it launched in 2019, the Zoom Phone platform is available in 47 countries, with the Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) connectivity of Zoom Phone Provider Exchange offering customers a choice of global voice service providers in more than 70 countries.
