South West Communications Group announced some fantastic news for their entire organisation recently. The group, otherwise known as SWComms, were established as a Microsoft Authorised partner for education, or an AEP. This meant that the company had officially managed to demonstrate its unwavering ability to meet the needs of education customers in an increasingly technology-based environment.
What Does Being a Microsoft AEP Involve?
In order for any business to earn the commendable position of Microsoft AEP, they need to go through some pretty significant testing. The idea is that Microsoft will only authorise companies or groups that are able to prove their level of educational market expertise. The program for AEP individuals was designed to train participating resellers throughout the market on the academic licensing requirements held by Microsoft, as well as authorising them to buy and resell those licenses. Additionally, the test helps to demonstrate to any potential customer that they have been approved as a knowledgeable solution for Microsoft education.
SWComms currently provides an advanced range of communication solutions to universities, colleges, and schools in their area, including web filtering solutions, services for internet connectivity, advanced data networks, and standard telephone and WiFi systems.
