Q-SYS's VisionSuite solution now supports Google Meetto elevate hybrid meetings.
The Q-SYS VisionSuite AI Accelerator for presenter tracking is the latest addition to the lineup of Q-SYS solutions certified for Google Meet, which already encompasses Q-SYS Core processors, NC Series cameras, and networked microphones. Q-SYS suggests this new addition enhances the platform with vision-based control, enabling presenter tracking and automatic participant camera switching.
As a result, Q-SYS stresses that Google Meet users can design larger meeting spaces with greater flexibility, providing remote attendees with a more dynamic and engaging view of the speaker.
Vic Bhagat, Senior Director of Alliances at Q-SYS, commented:
Q-SYS VisionSuite enables customers to transform their collaboration spaces into dynamic meeting environments that enhance productivity and engagement. This advanced multi-camera solution allows users to create an immersive atmosphere particularly well-suited for high-impact spaces, such as Tech Talk spaces, multi-purpose rooms, or training rooms. The supported solution is the next step in our shared vision to offer software-based innovations to enhance experiences."
Q-SYS outlines that its VisionSuite is designed for high-impact spaces, offering AI-powered vision-driven room automation with multi-camera presenter tracking and participant camera switching. This aims to ensure that speakers remain in the frame for remote participants, whether they are presenting at the front of the room or engaging the audience.
What Collaboration News Has Google Revealed Recently?
Earlier this year, Google made AI free for all Workspace subscribers while hiking the solution’s subscription price from $12 to $14 per user per month.
Previously, Workspace users paid an additional $20 per user per month for Google’s Gemini Business plan on top of their standard subscription. Now, they can access Google's AI across Meet, Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and other collaboration tools at no extra cost.
This followed Google's entry into the agentic AI boom in December when it revealed an agent builder tool called Agentspace to provide workers with organisational information and automate repetitive tasks.
