Nuvias Launches Diversify to Help Service Providers Increase Business

Nuvias Diversify service provider program

UC technology enabler, Nuvias UC, has launched a new club for service providers to help them expand portfolios and maximise revenue opportunities.

Called “Diversify”, the programme offers service providers new opportunities to expand their businesses with new products beyond unified communications, with a greater emphasis on collaboration products.

Speaking exclusively to UC Today, Chris Clements, ITSP distribution sales manager at Nuvias, said that Diversify is aiming at increasing engagement with service providers by highlighting our road map, as well as highlighting new and innovative solutions and vendors. There will also be new products and services from some of the long standing and established vendors.

“There are some new players coming to the market, which wouldn’t traditionally be seen as UC vendors, such as Dropbox for Business. These guys are bringing something to the channel that is much more application-led and pushing up the technology stack where traditional voice service providers haven’t played in the past, but where there is a clear customer demand, and a subsequent need to create a new ecosystem of products and services that are much more relevant for customers who are looking to diversify,” he said.

Clements added that there are new opportunities out there for service providers. As such Nuvias is looking to address two key focus areas with Diversify. First, is to focus on the growing demand from the channel for new and innovative products, and second, what Nuvias see as possible new opportunities for service providers they may not have considered, and how Nuvias can be the vehicle to help deliver these opportunities.

He said that the club would be an opportunity to ask service providers if application-led services are on their roadmap and what is their roadmap for technologies such as intelligent workspace solutions and services.

“We want to help service providers with those products and services and help them understand the opportunities as well as the technology."

"We have a long standing relationship with UK service providers and we like to think we understand their needs and demands and how to help address them”

He added that because of its legacy in the UK channel (formerly as Siphon networks) Nuvias understand the technology and the challenges service providers have in delivering products and services, automating procurement to streamlining service delivery.

So much choice

Clements said that there are more products in the broader market than ever before, which can create a lot of white noise for service providers today.

“There's so much choice out there now that knowing what's real, knowing what is deliverable and what's manageable, is key to it all,” he said.

“Understanding what's real for that customer, and providing the tools and processes to deliver these innovations is where we can help”

Clements said that Nuvias can help in “filtering out some of the noise and really focusing on what customers need”.

Diversify will also be used by Nuvias to help service provider engage with vendors and mutually drill into what is needed for the UK channel.

“It’s about addressing the challenges that you have today with your incumbent customer base, as well as helping you recognise where new opportunities are and helping deliver those get to get to market with something that’s sustainable, innovative and valuable that will help impact your growth and value,” said Clements.
