RingCentral offering for smaller businesses

RingCentral has launched its Customer Service Essentials bundle designed to be cost-friendly for smaller businesses.

The bundle combines RingCentral Message Video Phone (MVP) and RingCentral Live Reports into one package.

According to RingCentral, the bundle will allow smaller businesses to give a better customer experience.

A RingCentral blog post stated: "We're living in the age of the customer, where experience reigns supreme. In fact, buyers today are likely to stick with a company that offers awesome service even if it costs a little more.

"This is great news for small businesses; you might not be able to compete with huge companies when it comes to price, but you’re a lot closer to your customers than some of the big players can ever hope to be.

"But delighting customers isn't always a walk in the park. Even the best small businesses could use an advantage today, as everyone clamours to up their customer service game.

"That's why we've created the RingCentral Customer Service Essentials bundle. It's a lean pack of tools that has all the features you need for next-level customer experiences, without any extra costs."

Users can access team messaging, a business phone, video conferencing, and more from the same app.

Features such as pinning important conversations, sharing and storing files, and creating tasks and calendar invites, can also be done within the app.

RingCentral Live Reports allows businesses to get an insight into every step of the customer service journey they offer.

Companies can look at call queue performance reports, line of business analytics, quality-of-service reports, and more.

The RingCentral website does not show pricing for the Customer Service Essentials bundle. Any businesses interested have to get an individual quote from the company.

RingCentral has recently expanded its Microsoft Teams offering by adding the ability to send SMS and Fax messages from the Teams app.

The SMS and eFax features are available on both RingCentral's embedded dialer and direct routing solutions.
