HP announces OmniBook 5 laptop (with 42-hour battery)
HP has announced the OmniBook 5, a 14-inch Windows laptop that starts at $699.99. It includes a 2.5K OLED touch display, Intel Core 7 processors, up to 42 hours of local video playback, and is due in October 2026 on HP’s website and at Best Buy.
Samsung is expected to launch its first artificial intelligence glasses in November, joining a market dominated by Meta’s display-less smart glasses. The Intelligent Eyewear device uses a camera, microphones and Google’s Gemini through a connected Galaxy smartphone, with no visual display. Pricing has not yet been announced.
Logitech has announced Zone Vibe Pro and Zone Vibe Pro for Business, over-ear headsets designed for switching between work and personal use. The business model is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, and can be managed through Logitech Sync. Both include ANC, long battery life and replaceable parts.
Martin Audio launches DISPLAY 3 software for faster system design and prediction
Martin Audio’s new-generation DISPLAY 3 software is designed for Wavefront Precision systems and general system design. It claims accuracy to within ±1 dB of measured performance, supports 3D venue modelling in SketchUp, and can upload calculated DSP parameters to iKON amplifiers via Ethernet.
