Call Analytics Come to Amazon SDK
Amazon has launched Chime SDK call analytics so that developers can deploy machine learning-based analytics in days and gain new insights from their communications. These new analytics include call categorization, post-call summary, speaker search, and tone-based sentiment analysis. The Amazon Chime SDK also includes real-time audio and video, messaging, cloud recording, and data analytics.

New Microsoft Teams Available in Preview
Microsoft has a new Teams Windows application available for public preview. The new app is “reimagined from the ground up” based on user feedback for a more streamlined experience, and boasts faster performance while using less memory and disk space.
The previewed version of Teams also sets the groundwork for AI features, like the recently announced Copilot, as Microsoft’s President of Collaborative Apps and Platforms promises, “We’re only just beginning to see the potential of AI inside of Teams, and we will have lots more to share in the future.”

RingCentral Launches RingSense AI Platform
RingCentral is throwing its hat into the ring for generative AI, with a new platform designed to turn conversations into valuable insights. They’re kicking things off with RingSense for Sales, which generates insights and performance metrics based on conversations between salespeople and potential customers.
RingSense can provide automated follow-ups after sales meetings and create scored summaries of customer interactions and can integrate with third-party CRM applications and calendar apps.
Zoom Reveals OpenAI Features and More at Enterprise Connect
Zoom is also adding its own generative AI features, with a new functionality built into Zoom IQ. This feature (created in partnership with OpenAI) is designed to help users compose emails and chat messages, summarize chats, and create meeting agendas, based on the context of conversations.
Additionally, Zoom also announced new updates for email, video, calendar, and CX, as well as a rebranding of its virtual coworking tool, Zoom Huddles (previously known as Spots).
Bandwidth Launches Maestro to Enable Voice App Integrations
Bandwidth has released a new cloud communications platform, designed to help improve customer and employee experiences through real-time voice applications. This new platform, Bandwidth Maestro, is aimed at integrating voice with UC, CX, and AI platforms so that CIOs and businesses can customize communications workflows.
